Canadian indie songstress Jeen is set to release her new LP, Gift Shop, this fall via Red Brick Songs. Today, Indie88 is happy to share the latest single from Jeen, “Any Moment.”
Gift Shop was produced by Jeen and mixed by renowned Toronto musician/producer Ian Blurton, who also performs on “Any Moment.” The new single features a reverb-heavy sound that sets the tone for the upcoming full-length record.
“’Any Moment’ is the only song off my new record Gift Shop that I didn’t self-produce in my attic,” Jeen told Indie88. “Ian Blurton, who also plays guitar on the track and mixed the entire LP, co-produced/recorded ‘Any Moment’ at his studio, Pro Gold in Toronto (with musical great Tom Szczesniak on organ + radio mix courtesy of Jeff Dalziel). I can’t say enough good things about working with Ian. He’s the real deal and will always be my first call. Lyrically this song, simply put, is about perseverance. You will never know what might be just around the corner if you give up before you get there.”
